Common Questions
1. DOES ROCK FOUNDATION REPRESENT SOMETHING YOU SUPPORT?
Giving to charitable causes is noble and giving is one of the best ways to help others but you also have an obligation to make sure that your donations are going to an organization that you believe in and that your donations are going to be used properly.
2. HOW WILL THE ROCK FOUNDATION USE YOUR DONATIONS?
Rock Foundation operate in a very transparent manner. At the minimum, any charity should be able to tell you how your donations will be used, and in some cases, you can even request that your funds only go toward certain uses. We designate 95% of donations on our charitable programs, 2% on fundraising, and 3% on administration.
3. HOW CAN YOU FIND OUT ROCK FOUNDATION IS LEGITIMATE?
A good way to find out whether or not a public charity is legitimate is to find out if they qualify as a “tax exempt” organization with the IRS. To do this, you can request a copy of their IRS Form 990, “Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax.”
4. CAN ROCK FOUNDATION CLEARLY COMMUNICATES WHAT THEY DO?
We clearly articulate our mission and goals and we are not struggle in pursuing a plan to delivering our programs. We are a young but well oriented organization with a commitment to help the youth and needy.
